The last post on mash-ups proved to be pretty popular, with particular attention going to the unlikely combination of Britney Spears and Daft Punk on "Daft Slave." To fill in the gaps in your bootleg collection, here are six more notable mixes. First up are two mash-ups featuring Kylie Minogue's sultry 2003 single "Slow." The first is a propulsive mashing with The Prodigy's classic "Smack My Bitch Up," followed by an excellent mix with Stardust's "Music Sounds Better With You." Destiny's Child get an electro rework when juxtaposed with Calvin Harris's "Acceptable In The 80s" (previously featured in a special on Calvin Harris). Mylo's "Drop The Pressure" gets yet another bootleg treatment, this time with Michael Jackson's "Bad." Next up, Daft Punk rise to the aid of adventurous DJs once more by providing a fresh backing for Outkast's "The Whole World" (apologies for the scuzzy quality of this one). Last, a recommendation from one of my readers, a mash-up of Placebo, Kate Bush and Pet Shop Boys called "Love Comes Running Up That Hill Quickly."Kylie Minogue Vs. hey there, just go ahead and use the zShare links when the YouSendIt link expires. on the player page, select download file and then just wait for it to let you download. YouSendIt files expire pretty quickly, but zShare lasts indefinitely, and it's easier to just post both rather than to keep re-uploading the YouSendIt link or pay for it to remain uploaded. thanks!
how is it possible that the daft/outkast mashup is number one on the hype blog. outkast's melody is is in a different key and totally does not fit until the chorus, which barely fits. I guess I should start making mash-ups, and as long as i pick to popular acts, i'll be huge.

good point! to be honest, it's not very high up on my list of favorite mash-ups. if the "hype" was based on the songs rather than the names attached to them, some of the others in this post would be much higher up on the list than "around the whole world" (i particularly like "music sounds better when slow" a lot more)

most of those "mashups" are really really bad! especially the Mylo & the Outkast ones. not good.
whoever did those needs to learn some basic music skills. no need!
