Assorted oddities and discoveries, round two:
1. Primal Scream, "Swastika Eyes" (Jagz Kooner Mix Edit) (from the album XTRMNTR)
The aggressive first single from their electronic assault of an album XTRMNTR. The entire album is a highly-charged statement against pretty much every form of establishment, and is definitely worth checking out.
2. Texas, "Getaway" (from the album Red Book)

A fun pop song by British band Texas. This marked their comeback to the charts overseas, and its catchy melody reveals why after the first listen.
3. Yoko Ono with Peaches, "Kiss Kiss Kiss" (from the album Yes, I'm A Witch)

I've never known much of Yoko Ono's work, but her recent album of collaborations/re-recordings (featuring the likes of Peaches, The Flaming Lips, Cat Power and many other) caught my eye. This reworking is a fun electro number typical of Peaches, with a whole lot of Ono's weirdness thrown in.
