Electronic duo Röyksopp are well-known in the genre for their top-notch chilled grooves, as well as for their often excellent remixes, both of their own work and for others. Here are some of my favorites from both groupings. Coldplay are rarely ever remixed, but Röyksopp do a nice job with "Clocks," turning it into a midtempo electronic number that is second only to Jacques Lu Cont's incomparable remix of "Talk." Spiller's "Cry Baby" gets an excellent makeover, as does Annie's classic single "Heartbeat." Felix Da Housecat is treated to a more atypical Röyksopp mix on "What Does It Feel Like." Röyksopp's own tracks, on the other hand, have produced countless essential remixes. The four I've picked out don't begin to cover them all, but they're among the best. "Remind Me" gets a blissful rework courtesy of Ernest St. Laurent, and is among Röyksopp's best work, remixed or otherwise. Likewise, "What Else Is There?" had its radio edit done by Jacques Lu Cont, which is similarly among his and Röyksopp's best material. Röyksopp remixed their own "Poor Leno" for a driving extended version, and Rex The Dog gives the lush "Beautiful Day Without You" a harder edge to round out the picks.Mixes by Röyksopp:

When you talk about the remix for "Talk" from Coldplay. I think the remix you mean is Thin White Duke.
Thin White Duke is just another alias for Stuart Price, aka Jacques Lu Cont. He produces and remixes under those names as well as Paper Faces, Man With Guitar, SDP and some others. Good call though! Clearly you know the mix I'm talking about.
Yeah. i got all excited when you mentioned the jacques lu cont remix but than i was like wait... isnt it thin white duke. but than after i posted to comment i did remember also that stuart price did have different names for himself. i really liked your Royksopp post. you should do more like that.
