Paul Oakenfold is among the biggest names in dance music today, and has been building up an impressive resume over the past fifteen years. He is perhaps most famous for his skills as a DJ, but has extended that success to popular remix work and solo recordings. While some of his mixes tend to become repetitive, there is no doubt about their consistent quality, which is rivaled only by some of his best solo singles. A selection of my personal favorite Oakenfold remixes is featured here, along with a bonus solo track, "Faster Kill Pussycat," his ace 2006 single with actress Brittany Murphy on vocals. The remix of Róisín Murphy's "Cry Baby" is an absolute stormer that will restore any doubter's faith in dance music.
